Welcome to the Antique Motoring Club of Monmouth County Web Site; we would like to share our enthusiasm and interest with you for the enjoyment, preservation, and restoration of antique/ collectible cars. Our club meetings are informative; relating to local car shows, cruise nights, parades, national events, legislative updates concerning the hobby, historical and technical information pertaining to antique/ collectible automobiles. A typical club meeting would consist of an open floor discussion by members for sharing information, the usual club business report, an event report by our coordinator, a tech session, and coffee break. Meetings usually are about 2 hours. One of our latest additions to the meeting is our “What the Heck is That” session. Members are invited to bring in something auto/historical related that they think the membership will not know, give a few hints, and the membership try to figure out what it is. This has proven to be a lot of fun for everyone. The Club participates in local Memorial Day, Veteran Day, and Special event parades. We previously participated and Judged the Monmouth County Fair Car show for 25 years, which in turn funds our annual Club Picnic. Every January the Club has its annual Auction Night; members donate anything auto related to the club and the club auctions these items off to members and guests. Everyone is a winner and has a lot of fun with some good natured teasing. The Club encourages the use of our antique/ collector cars just for the fun of it. We hope you would like to join us. You are welcome to attend one of our club meetings to judge for yourself.
